Paint correction is a term that is commonly used to describe the process of restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork of a vehicle, mostly through the elimination of surface imperfections, that dull, oxidize, or haze on the surface, therefore detracting from a true and proper, clean, sharp, reflection.
Imperfections commonly found but are not limited to defects such as swirl marks & fine scratches, bird dropping etching & acid rain etching, hologramming & buffer trails, and random isolated deep scratches (or RIDS).
There are different levels of correction depending on the end goal you wish to achieve. Anywhere from a light polish to a multi-stage correction. Note that a correction never guarantees 100% defect removal as there are always some form of permanent surface damage.
We offer three different levels of paint correction (1-Stage, 2-Stage, and Multi-Stage) depending on the size of vehicle, color, age, and condition of the paint. These three stages are differentiated based on the methods, products and time required to polish the vehicle properly.
Our 1-Stage correction is meant only to enhance gloss and remove extremely light oxidation:
Sedans & Coupes : $300 - $350
Trucks, Crossovers, Vans & SUV - $370 - $430

WHY IS PAINT CORRECTION SO POPULAR NOW AND WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT?
Paint correction has become so much more popular because of the recent ceramic coating movement in the last decade. Ceramic coatings are completely clear and do not have the ability to hide any defects in the paint like some waxes and sealants do. This is where paint correction is very different from a basic low priced detail. Waxes and sealants appear to make the vehicle look better when you pick it up, but after a few washes remove the fillers from your paint, you will see the same scratches that were supposed to be removed. This is where paint correction differs. Paint correction removes the scratches by slowly leveling the defect from the paint. No fillers are needed when properly performed by a highly trained professional.
